About Us

In 2020, the coronavirus pandemic struck St. Louis along with the rest of the world. While the disease has impacted everyone, it created undeniable challenges for high-risk populations. Elderly citizens, the immunocompromised, and those with pre-existing conditions like diabetes and hypertension are indeed more susceptible to the virus. They now struggle with an incredibly simple, but important question. How do they get groceries without putting themselves or their families at risk?

That’s exactly why we founded St. Louis Food Angels. Our organization provides food and groceries to high-risk populations in St. Louis City during this pandemic through either our food box delivery service or by helping non-profit organizations with their last-mile deliveries. We started offering food boxes to make it easier for individuals and families to access affordable and nutritious food.

At St. Louis Food Angels, we are invested in addressing food desert issues and spreading the notion of food as preventative medicine. We believe this is only possible with a united front from the St. Louis community. We believe that a unified community – when empowered – can create a lasting social change.

Mission

St. Louis Food Angels’ mission is to serve at-risk community members by handling last-mile deliveries for partner nonprofits, providing direct grocery delivery services and donating healthy food boxes to those in need.

Partners

We’re proud to partner with a number of nonprofit organizations to further our mission and we’re mobilizing our volunteer base to help them with their last-mile deliveries. Learn more about each and see how your nonprofit can work with us.
